The Pack Horse Inn has five Bed and Breakfast rooms above the pub. The quaint and picturesque village of Ellingham is the perfect place to stay to explore the beauty and delights of Northumberland, we are in a good central location for the AONB coastline, the Cheviot Hills to the West and are only 1.5 miles off the A1.
After a day out exploring we invite you to relax in our sunny beer garden or kick back next to the open fire and enjoy a thirst quenching pint and a hearty homemade meal.

Twin Bedroom with a spacious en-suite including a shower over the bath. Situated towards the rear of the pub and is one of the quieter options of rooms available.

Room 3 is a small room with a shower room en-suite. Cosy room with a double bed, perfect for a short stay or for those not fussed about room enough to dance in. Room 3 is located to the side of the pub above the restaurant area.

Room 4 is again a more compact room but actually has a king Size bed and a shower in the en-suite. Cosy room to the front of the pub above our Snug area and overlooks the quintessential village that is Ellingham.

Room 5 is our most spacious room and has a double bed. The en-suite is also fairly spacious and includes a walk in shower. It is located above the bar area of the pub, which closes before 11pm most nights, sometimes midnight at the weekends.

If guests require an early check in or late check out they must check this with us before arrival and it will be subject to availability. We always do our best to adhere to any requests and usually charge a small fee.
For those who have booked our B&B rate, breakfast is served in the pub between 8am and 9am.
Please note, as of 2019 our rooms are no longer dog friendly.
Room5 is large enough to put a Z Bed in for children, we charge a £15 linen surcharge and a breakfast charge should you be taking breakfast. Please let us know on booking if you require an extra bed. Room 2 is also big enough for a bed but it is a tight squeeze. Rooms 1, 3 and 4 are not large enough to fit an extra bed in.
Guests can cancel free of charge until 14 days prior to arrival. Guests will be charged the total price of the stay if they cancel within 14 days prior to arrival. If guests do not show for their booking we will also charge the full price of the stay.
No prepayment is needed but we do take payment details upon booking to secure your booking.
